What is this?

A puzzle hunt! We give you a series of puzzles, and you solve them over the course of several hours.

Sounds fun! How does my team win?

Each puzzle yields a one-word solution. You'll have to combine all your solutions and solve the metapuzzle, a larger puzzle with pieces hidden throughout the hunt. Solving the meta triggers the endgame, a bonus round for those who complete the puzzles the fastest.

What are the puzzles like?

How do I register?

Is it free?

It's 100% free! But if you have a few dollars to spare, there will be a strictly optional donation bowl for the pizza.

What should I bring?

A team of no more than four people. Humans only, please. Robots are discouraged; they mess up the sensors.
Laptops. All the puzzles will be available online, and for some you'll probably want to use a search engine.
Cellphones. Hunt headquarters needs to call your team to confirm solutions to puzzles.

How long will it last?

The hunt will run from 12 PM to 8 PM. If there isn't a winner by 8, we'll inform all teams to keep playing and continue until there's a winner.

Will there be food?

Dinner will be pizza; lunch however will not be provided.

Is there anything else I should know?

There may be some running around campus required.
You CAN register a partial team and we'll do our best to try to match all of the partial teams on the day of.
Nothing on this and the registration page is a puzzle. No, really, this is not a puzzle.
Dinner will be provided but not lunch, so it's a good idea to eat before the hunt.
